askMOS began with an interface problem. skillMOS is about where a working method can be used. The two problems need different approaches.
Who needs to be able to use it?
Where does the work get stuck?
What can the system already do?
What information is missing?
What actually needs to get better?
I trained as a social worker. I am interested in the places where people have to adapt to the system, even though the system could be set up differently.
When I started building with AI, that habit came along. episMOS has become the place where I collect the products and methods the work has led to. I build and test ways to get more out of the AI we already have access to.
I wanted to build a place where the family's recipes could be collected, kept and used.
I was new to parts of the technical development and used AI to move forward. Along the way I also needed better help with the AI work itself.
While working on cookMOS I needed my direction challenged, and to hold on to what had already been decided.
prismMOS grew out of that need. A private development track. I share the background and the overall idea, but not the technical build.
I wanted to be able to start with a loose idea and get help clarifying the rest before AI started doing the task.
An answer should be able to change the next question. There should be room to write your own answer and go back if the suggestions sent the task the wrong way.
A Skill describes a reusable way of working. With skillMOS I package Skills for the chat or workflow where they will be used.
The instructions and their sources have to come along, so the method does not have to be rebuilt from scratch in every new conversation.
ubmaMOS is my method for challenging an answer before I use it as the basis for an important decision.
First, test the assumption the conclusion depends on most. Continue only if more analysis is expected to be able to change the decision.
